Excellent tour. The guide and driver were excellent, very informative, hard working, very attentive and good company. The food was well above what we expected - considering how remote the tour is. The staff work hard to make it an enjoyable experience for all their guests. The overall organisation was good, although expect to sometimes have delays in receiving information - for us this was not a problem. Thank you ETT for a great trip. We will use you again and recommend you.

I joined a 3-day, 2-night Danakil tour and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. The communication from Japan before the trip was excellent—quick, clear, and reassuring, which made me feel very confident about booking.
Once the tour began, the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, even in the extreme heat. The drivers were skilled and reliable, and the food throughout the trip was much better than expected.
The surreal landscapes of Dallol and the glowing lava lake at Erta Ale were simply breathtaking—like being on another planet. The team also took every precaution to ensure our safety, which I greatly appreciated.
This tour was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. If you’re thinking about visiting the Danakil Depression, I highly recommend this company!
